How It Works - First Step

We partner with counselors, therapists, physiatrists, and psychologists.

These crucial mental health professionals play a significant role in our program, referring individuals who they feel could benefit from exercise services for their mental health and/or substance use disorder journey but do not have the financial means to access those services.

With a referral from their mental health professional, the interested individual contacts Fit 4 Victory. Upon verification, we will issue a voucher for ten personal training or group fitness sessions free of charge.

Let’s Get Moving - Second Step

We partner with various reputable and highly skilled fitness facilities and trainers in the community to offer an extensive range of activities, from one-on-one training to group cycling, yoga, pilates, and more. This allows the individual to select a program and activity that best fits their comfort level, increasing the chance of staying in the program.

The client takes the voucher to a facility of choice from a list of our fitness partners and participates in ten sessions. The facility returns the voucher to Fit 4 Victory to be reimbursed. All fitness facilities and trainers offer a substantial discounted rate to Fit 4 Victory for the services provided.

The Takeaways for the Client

  • Knowledge

From the fitness community—Being part of an exercise community can open up conversations about other healthy habits, such as nutrition, meditation, recovery methods, training for events, and more. This can improve your mental health.

  • Accountability

We provide sessions they must schedule with a trainer or instructor. This helps them stay accountable to another person for attending and keeping their appointments.

  • Flexibility

We partner with various exercise facilities and instructors. This allows clients to find an exercise program they enjoy and feel empowered in. This also allows them to choose a one-on-one or group setting.

  • Connection

We connect people to instructors and trainers who encourage, uplift, support, and help them overcome obstacles.
